Our second 1940s Cabaret was on the 11th of November, our evening of remembrance was inspired by the street parties that marked the end of WWII in 1945. We had fine comic performances from Zoe Hughes, Michael Hotchkiss as well as Andrew Ross and Andrew Yeomans. Alongside this Joe Ball, Mark McLaughlin, Andrew Ross and Sara Cowman gave readings of First World War poetry underscored with a soundscape by Rachael Finney and Alex Smith. The Night was then brought to a close by a chorus of wartime songs from Sarah Green, Abi Spear, James Robinson, Katie Howard, Louise O'Connor, Jonny Neeves and Adam Hepworth.
